The aim of this research project was the development of new methodologies and of a prototype software for the anticollision registration and information for radiation therapy. This project was partly funded by the General Secretariat for Research & Technology - Greek Ministry of Development.
Pi Medical was the coordinator of this project and the research was performed in cooperation with the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
The protoype sofwtare and the ideas that came out of this research effort was used for the development of Virtual Treatment Room (VTR). VTR is a commercial software available by Pi Medical.
